Families Stand Together: Feeling Secure in Tough Times
In today’s economic climate, increases in job loss and income cuts have left many families struggling with covering basic costs like housing, medical care, transportation, food, clothing and child care. In these instances, it can be difficult for parents to find the right words to explain these problems to their children, opting instead for silence on the issues. Tune in to KVPT on Wednesday, September 9 at 8 pm for this television special hosted by Al Roker, Deborah Roberts and Elmo, with financial expert Jean Chatsky and clinical psychologist Joshua Coleman, that will offer parents the tools they need to initiate those conversations with their children.
