As a realtor working with bank owned properties, I hear stories of home owners that are losing their homes to foreclosure. They had tried to keep their homes but the banks weren’t helpful. It makes me so sad to meet many people that have lost their jobs, gotten sick, maybe divorce and their world’s have changed.
Many of the public think that these people deserve to lose their houses because they shouldn’t have gotten bad loans. My experience more times than not is that there were other extenuating reasons like job loss. Most people aren’t trying to beat the system.
