Gardening is one of the nation's most popular hobbies. However, in the Central Valley climate and soil can pose particular challenges.  Fortunately, for local gardeners, help is at hand from John  Pape.  He is a horticultural consultant, certified arborist and host of KVPT’s program Art of Gardening.

Art of Gardening is the Valley’s only local call-in gardening show.   The show also features tours of local gardens, as well as seasonal gardening tips and issues.

John Pape is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture.  John is a published author with experience in nursery and landscape maintenance and landscape installation.  He is also a licensed pest control operator and owns a tree and landscape health care company.

Art of Gardening airs Tuesday at 7:30pm. Have a question for John? Send it here and tune in to hear the answer on the air.
